Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Full-time/regular M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized Indian university/institute.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS; passing marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Final-year/semester students can apply but must submit proof of eligibility by 31 July 2025
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 27 years as on 31 May 2025.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, as per government norms
Selection Process
- All India Online Selection Test:
- Two parts: Subject Knowledge Test (Chemistry) & Executive Aptitude Test.
- Candidates must qualify both parts separately45.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to passing the NTPC medical standards
Salary & Training
- Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 (E-0 Grade); starting basic pay ₹30,000
- Training: 1-year training at various NTPC locations.
- Service Bond:
- ₹1,00,000 for General/EWS/OBC
- ₹50,000 for SC/ST/PwBD
- Bond period: 3 years after training
