WB PRB SI 2024 exam date announced for Prelims and Final Exam

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has announced the exam dates for both Preliminary and Final Exam. The application process for the said post started in March 2024 and now the exam dates have been announced.

Final Exam-15 October 2025

The applicant must be able to speak, read and write in Bengali language, provided that the provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts for whom the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961

  1. Preliminary Exam (Screening Test):

Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Exam are eligible for PMT and PET rounds. Those who qualify physical rounds appear for the Final Combined Competitive Examination followed by the Personality Test.

Final Examination

Final Combined Competitive Examination (Full Marks – 200) :- The Final Combined Competitive Examination will consist of three papers of conventional type questions, namely a) Paper-I :- General Studies and Arithmetic for 100 marks (50 marks for General Studies, and 25 marks for Logical & Analytical reasoning and 25 marks for Arithmetic) of 2 (two) hours duration. b) Paper-II :- English of 50 marks of 1 (one) hour duration. c) Paper-III :- Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali of 50 marks of 1 (one) hour duration
