AFCAT 01/2027 Educational Qualification and Eligibility

AFCAT 01/2027 Educational Qualification

AFCAT 01/2027 Educational Qualification: The Indian Air Force has prescribed different educational qualifications for candidates applying to Flying, Ground Duty Technical, and Ground Duty Non-Technical branches. Candidates must fulfil the minimum marks and subject requirements specified for their respective branches.

IAF introduced the GATE score, so candidates with a GATE score can apply. The Indian Air Force has introduced a GATE Score-based entry route under AFCAT 01/2027 recruitment for courses commencing in January 2028. This provides an additional opportunity for engineering graduates aspiring to become commissioned officers in the Ground Duty (Technical) Branch.
