The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has announced recruitment for 30 Dental Hygienist posts in 2025. The application form opens on 3 December and will close on 23 December.
What is Dental Hygienist?
A dental hygienist is a licensed oral healthcare professional who focuses on preventive dental care and maintaining oral health. They work alongside dentists to clean teeth, remove plaque and tartar, and provide treatments such as applying sealants and fluoride. There are 30 vacancies available. Candidate will be selected on the basis of written exam,

- UKMSSB Dental Hygienist salary : ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200 (Pay Level-6)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Dental Hygienist from a recognized institute + Registration with Dentist Registration Tribunal, Uttarakhand
- Age Limit: 18 to 42 years (relaxations applicable for reserved categories)
- Cut off date is 1 July 2025

The UKMSSB Dental Hygienist exam pattern for 2025 is as follows:
- The exam is a written test.
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Time Duration: 2 hours
- Question Type: Objective (OMR based)
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks: 45% for General/OBC/EWS categories and 35% for SC/ST categories
- Syllabus generally includes:
- General Hindi (20 marks)
- General Knowledge (40 marks)
- General Studies (40 marks)
The selection is based purely on the written exam, with no interview round. Candidates must prepare according to this structure to score well.

You are Indian Citizen
You must have the domicile of Uttarakhand
Candidate should have Dental Registration Tribunal before the last date of application
A diploma in Dental Hygienist
Preferential Qualification
Candidate has served in the territorial army for at least two years

Have NCC B or C certificate
There will be 4 percent reservation for the sportperson who have won medal in Olympic,commonwealth, Khelo India,All India University Level Game,National Games
