NORCET 11 Stage 2 Expected Cutoff 2026: Marks Required for selection

NORCET 11 Stage 2 Expected Cutoff 2026
NORCET 11 Stage 2 Result 2026NORCET 11 Cutoff 2026

NORCET 11 Stage 2 Expected Cutoff 2026: One of the biggest questions for candidates preparing for NORCET 11 is: How many marks do I need to score in Stage 2 to get selected as a Nursing Officer? While the official NORCET 11 Stage 2 cutoff will be released by AIIMS after the examination, previous-year cutoff trends can help candidates understand the qualifying level they should target.

The Stage 2 cutoff is released category-wise. Looking at NORCET-8, NORCET-9, and NORCET-10, the cutoff for the major categories has remained consistent. Based on this trend, the expected NORCET -11 Stage 2 cutoff can be estimated as follows.

You can check the qualifying percentile in stage 2. But candidates should not assume that scoring around this percentile will get them selected for the nursing officer job. We have tried to understand the ranking system in the AIIMS NORCET 11 recruitment process.

NORCET 11 Stage 2 Cutoff 2026

CategoryExpected Stage 2 Cutoff
UR/EWSAround 50%
OBCAround 45%
SC/STAround 40%
UR-PWBDAround 45–48%
EWS-PWBDAround 48–52%
OBC-PWBDAround 40–42%
SC-PWBDAround 35–38%
ST-PWBDAround 35–47%

These figures are expected ranges based on previous Stage 2 cutoffs, not the official NORCET 11 cutoff.

How Many Marks Should You Score in NORCET 11 Stage 2?

If the previous trend continues, candidates can use 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST as the historical qualifying benchmarks.

However, there is an important difference between qualifying the cutoff and getting a particular institute. A candidate who meets the qualifying percentage is not automatically guaranteed a particular AIIMS or participating institute. The final allocation depends on the following parameter

Applicable merit/rank,

Category,

Eligibility,

Available vacancies,

Institute choices.

Therefore, candidates should not treat the NORCET 11 Stage 2 Expected Cutoff 2026 as a guaranteed “selection mark.” Instead, it should be used as a reference to understand the minimum qualifying level and set a higher preparation target.

NORCET 10 Stage 2 Cutoff

NORCET-10 Stage 2 provides the latest completed-cycle reference. AIIMS reported the category-wise cutoff percentage along with the Stage II result. (RRP Documents). The qualifying percentage has been the same in all the recruitment processes.

NORCET 11 Stage 2 Expected Cutoff 2026 v/s Rank

The 50% qualifying cutoff in NORCET Stage-II does not mean that every candidate scoring 50% or above will be selected as a Nursing Officer. For NORCET 11, for example, 2,218 tentative Nursing Officer vacancies have been reported across participating institutes.

Now suppose 4,000 candidates qualify for Stage-II after meeting the applicable cutoff. All 4,000 may be eligible for the further allocation process, but there are only 2,218 reported vacancies. At this stage, NORCET rank and merit become important. A candidate with a better rank will stand higher in the merit order, while final allocation will also depend on category, available vacancies, eligibility, and the choices filled by the candidate.

So, the cutoff only tells you whether you have qualified for Stage-II; it does not guarantee a Nursing Officer post. In simple terms: Cutoff → Qualification | Score → Rank | Rank + Vacancy + Category + Choices → Allocation

What Do Previous Cutoffs Tell NORCET 11 Candidates?

The previous three Stage 2 cutoff lists show a clear pattern. The cutoff remained at 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST in NORCET-8, NORCET-9, and NORCET-10.

This makes these percentages useful when planning your NORCET -11 preparation. However, the actual score required for getting a particular institute can be different because allocation is linked to merit/rank, vacancies, category, and candidate choices.

Final Takeaway

If you are expecting the NORCET 11 Stage 2 result, we suggest that qualifying marks is not the final criterion for selection for the Nursing Officer post, but if you are confident you will achieve more than this qualifying cut off, you have higher chance of selection. A higher Stage 2 score can improve your position in the merit-based allocation process.

The official NORCET 11 Stage 2 cutoff will be known only after AIIMS declares the NORCET 11 Stage 2 result. Until then, the NORCET-8, 9, and 10 figures above provide the best historical reference for understanding the expected cutoff.
