Port Management Board Pilot Officer Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the post must fulfil the prescribed professional experience requirements. According to the official notification, applicants should:
- Possess a Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Master of Home Trade Ship granted by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least five years of experience as Master of Home Trade Ship.

Salary and Contract Period

What Will the Pilot Officer Do?
The Pilot Officer will be responsible for important port operations, including the safe movement of vessels. The charter of duties includes:
- Berthing and unberthing vessels arriving at or departing from ports in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

- Ensuring the safe navigation of ships entering and leaving the port.
- Ensuring the safety of tugs, mooring boats, pilot boats and other vessels during port operations.
