ICAR-NIPB YP-II Job Description

The selected candidate will be engaged under the project titled “Deployment of genetic and chemical options for the management of major biotic (Orobanche and Alternaria) stresses in Indian Mustard.”

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) funds the project. The engagement will continue until 28 February 2027 or until the project is terminated, whichever is earlier.

ICAR NIPB Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in relevant subjects, OR
• Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/Plant Pathology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences, according to need.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in any of the following areas will be desirable:

• Pathogen handling
• Execution of field trials
• Plant tissue culture
• Molecular biology
• Bioinformatics tools and techniques
• Next Generation Sequencing
