ICMR Scientist B Selection Process
The recruitment follows a two-stage process:
Stage-I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)/Written Examination (qualifying only).
Stage-II: Personal Interview (basis for final merit list).

Stage-I: CBT/Written Test (100 Marks, Qualifying Nature)
- Format: 100 objective-type MCQs (4 options each, 1 correct answer).

- Wrong answer: -1/3 mark (negative marking).
- Unanswered/Marked for Review: 0 marks.

- SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 45% marks (relaxed cut-off).
- Cut-offs applied category-wise.
- Query Process: For question discrepancies, use “Representation for Questions (RFQ)” link in your MyPage (active 24 hours post-exam). No on-site technical clarifications.
Stage-II: Personal Interview
- Conducted by: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi.
- Shortlisting: 5 times the number of vacancies per category (UR/EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PwBD), based on Stage-I merit.
- Final Steps: Document verification and scrutiny at interview stage.
