Age

Between 18-28 years (including 5 years relaxation) as on 01.08.2025 i.e. candidates must have born not earlier than 02/08/1997 and not later than 01.08.2007.

Education: – Minimum Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/University.

You will have to fill up the application form only in Hindi or English.

Candidates will carry self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials as proof of education, as well as their date of birth. Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate (ST) issued by the prescribed authority.

Self-attested copy of Domicile certificate and any one of the identity proof i.e. Aadhar card, Voter ID or Ration Card Etc.

An Admit Card issue form candidates will fill and submit alongwith passport-size photograph as per Annexure-II, alongwith the application form.

Physical Standard

All eligible candidates will have to go through the Height Bar, and thereby, candidates with lesser height can face rejection.

The candidates who qualify on the PST & PET will appear for the written test.

The question paper will be of 100 marks, comprising 100 questions. The duration of the question paper will be 02 hours.

Candidates who becomes eligible on screening of testimonials, they will get a call for screening first for height, chest and weight (weight will not be a disqualification at the stage of PST).

However, weight for disqualification during medical examination (with reference to height/age standard chart) considered.

The question paper of the written examination will be set to assess the general awareness/general knowledge, knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns and to test the basic knowledge of the candidate in Hindi/English language

Candidates who qualify in the written test, shortlisted for document verification, followed by a Medical Examination Test, in proportion to the available vacancies.

 Documents to be carried

Original High School / Matriculation Certificate and Mark Sheet.

 Original documents in support of your Education,, i.e. 10+2 and Graduation/Degree certificate or Provisional Certificate along with mark sheets issued by the Board/ University concerned.

 Caste certificate (ST category) as per Performa issued by the Central Govt (A copy of Performa of ST Certificate enclosed). Two latest identical passport size photographs, one to be fixed on the Application form and other on the Admit Card.

Original NCC ‘C’, ‘B’ & ‘A’ Certificates.

Original Domicile Certificate.

Identity proof i.e. Original Aadhar Card, Voter ID or Ration Card, etc. Original Identity Card/Pensioner Book for Ex-Servicemen. Original No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Govt/ Semi-Govt servants.

No TA/DA is admissible for appearing PST, PET, Written Examination and Medical Examination in BSF.
