Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 41/2025) for recruitment of 28 Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) posts in the Transport Department, Government of Bihar.

Who can apply?

• Educational Qualification:
  • Must have passed 10th class from a recognized board.
  • Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3-year course) OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3-year course) from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
  • Diplomas in allied subjects other than Automobile or Mechanical Engineering are NOT valid.
• Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license for geared and light motor vehicles (learner’s license not accepted
• Age Limit (as of 1 August 2025):
  • Male: 18–37 years
  • Female (UR, BC/EBC): 18–40 years
  • SC/ST (Male/Female): 18–42 years
  • Age relaxation as per government rules
