By offering more than 35 cultural, literary, and visual art events, the festival provides students with national‑level exposure and valuable opportunities for overall growth.
In line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of inclusive development and tribal empowerment, the fest closely aligns with the national mission to drive the socio-economic progress of Scheduled Tribes through focused and transformative efforts.
By giving tribal students a prominent platform to showcase creativity, gain confidence, and deepen their cultural identity, UDBHAV 2025 plays a significant role in advancing the holistic empowerment envisioned under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ developmental agenda.
NESTs Udbhav 2025 at KL University
The event brings together more than 2,000 tribal students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) nationwide, celebrating the unity, talent, and vibrant cultures of India’s tribal communities.
Through diverse cultural and literary performances, these students will proudly showcase the richness of their heritage on a national platform.
UDBHAV 2025 includes 48 events spanning vocal and instrumental music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and various literary competitions, offering students ample scope to display their artistic skills and creativity.
Winners of the fest will earn the opportunity to participate in the National Level Kala Utsav at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Pune, Maharashtra, where EMRS students will compete with 38 teams from across the country.
More than just a competition, the EMRS Cultural Fest significantly contributes to the holistic development of tribal youth.
It strives to narrow the gap between tribal and mainstream communities by providing equal opportunities and motivating students to discover and develop their talents in multiple fields. Over time, the fest has grown into a powerful platform that fosters excellence in cultural, artistic, and literary pursuits.
